Energy Bar

I wonder if you all have heard, but cigarettes in Singapore all now need to be 'branded' with a SDPC wording near the filter.

The idea is so that contraband Ciggys will not be bought and brought into Singapore shores.

My gosh.. i can imagine the comments made by smokers.

List of Typical Comments to be Heard

Upon talking about the logo, they will proceed to compare about the good old days when...

1. Price of Ciggys. [was as Cheap as $2+ for small pack, now = $10+]

2. Size of Box. [Last time = small and big packs, Now = Big only]

3. Picture on Box. [Ugly disgusting pictures to 'deter' them from smoking]

4. Areas where smoking is valid. [coffee shops]

there might be more but i won't know what else exactly they might say..

But..as they Tobacco companies are covering their bums, i doubt that it can take full effect.

This i feel cause i'm sure they can easily print the words SDFP on the cigarette to reduce suspicion from 'officers' who keep a watch at their mouths.

oh well..good luck to my fellow smoking friends

Airport Blunder

Ok...i was suppose to pick my mom up from the airport today at 20:00..

BUT IT TURNS OUT THAT she changed her flight without informing my dad...
*her flight now arrives back in Singapore at around midnight*

oh well so now we're back home while my mom comes back at midnight..

Re-enactment

*Scenario*
Family goes out to eat dinner at airport while waiting for mom for her [what was] 8pm arrival.
After dinner dad gets message from mom stating she's boarding soon
Dad was flabbergasted
Dad walks to check the T1 arrival schedule and flight arrival of CX711
Seeing that his information was correct, he goes to call mom

Dad: hey, where are you now? i thought you're coming back at 8?

*i dun know what my mom said i figured it'll be something like this*
Mom: no..my flight reaches back at midnight

Dad: huh? but the informations says 7.51pm

Mom: no its midnight

Dad: how can? your flight is CX 711 right?

Mom: nope, CX 715...

Dad: wah..then i wasted $100 on dinner.....

and the conversation carries on..

er ok the point is my mom forgot to update my dad and like zzz....

and awhile after she hung up, she send a message saying, 'hehehe'.
