To Count
Woke up, ate dinner with family [kind of a mini NYeve thing]
Back home now..
Don't think i will be counting down this year,
The
mood isn't really there cause i feel there is nothing much to look forward to in
2009I wonder if anyone share my sentiments

But anyway on a side note, as i was walking home, i bypassed ehub and saw shitloads of people [
not satay] around the area.
Freaking loads of cars forming a line at
traffic lightsLittle 'ah bengs' with their
cake-face 'lian' stead lingering around before the countdown.
Matts and minas, bollywood fanfares.
Bangalas in slowly forming
thunderstorms hanging out too
Every year is the same over at downtown. There are bound to be fights.
Cross racial or even of the same race.
I wonder what is their term of a
'Happy' New Year

It is said that...
The International Earth Rotation and Reference Systems has
added an additional second today [31st Dec'08] to be in sync with the Earth's slowing rotation.
The decision was based on its monitoring of the Earth's rotation which occurs at different rates due to tides and other factors.
This has been the
24th second added [to the Coordinated Universal Time]
since 1972.
